Whether your goal is to provide nutrition for your herd or you just want to see more deer, this mix will fit the bill. Harvest Advantage is a premium Fall/Winter food plot blend combining a mixture of small grains that can produce up to 3 tons of forage per acre, and are well adapted to the south. With proper fertility and management, these grains will provide quality forage with crude protein in the range of 15-25%. Planted in early fall, this mixture will provide late fall grazing and continue to produce until April or May.

A cool season mix of high quality clover, forage brassica and chicory. Forager Plus is designed to be planted with up to 50lbs of your preferred, cool season, cereal grain (wheat, oats or triticale) to plant 1 acre. Food plots with only cereal grains lack the important nutritional value and attraction, which Forager Plus offers. The clover, brassica and chicory plants are cold tolerant, top performers in northern & southern US states. The hardy clover and chicory in this mix are highly attractive to whitetails in the fall and the palatable foliage produces high protein forage well into the early summer months. Deer will forage on the radish leaves as soon as they emerge and the turnip leaves after hard freeze for a full season of high attraction. All of the brassica plants are large bulb producers. The high protein bulbs emerge in the late winter when deer will consume them.

A multi-year mix of heat tolerant, white and red clover with a top-performing chicory for the south. The red clover is a big leafed, fast establishing, drought tolerant clover perfect for southern climates. The white clover is tall growing, large leafed, highly palatable and designed to stand up to heavy browse pressure. The large leafed chicory is drought tolerant, browse tolerant and acidic soil tolerant, capable of reaching high protein levels of over 30% in the spring and summer. Chicory is known to improve digestion in small, ruminant animals such as whitetails and may even reduce parasitic worms. A mix of cool season annual, large bulb, forage radish, turnip and hybrid rape. Whitetails will forage on the radish leaves as soon as they emerge unlike other brassica plants, which usually require a hard freeze before they become attractive. For this reason there is a higher percentage of turnip and hybrid rape in the NORTHERN mix and a higher percentage of radish in the SOUTHERN mix. The dense leaf producing brassicas can persist underneath moderate levels of snow. All of these brassicas are large bulb producers. The high protein bulbs emerge in the late winter/early spring when deer will consume them. This secondary food source aids in post rut, post winter reconditioning. The remaining bulbs then decompose adding organic matter and nutrients back into the soil.
